    1. What happens if you try to watch HD through the HVX on a SD television?

    2. The instructions mention that you could use a S-cable to connect the HVX to a tv. Is S-video considered digital? I’m guessing this would only be useful for watching SD?

    3. What type of connection is the cable that came with the HVX that is intended for connecting the HVX to a TV? It has the component video and audio ports
    that connect to the HVX, though the other end is the part that I am wondering about.

    Check out your manual a bit- all this info is there. The HVX downconverts to SD via the S-video cable. The cable that comes with the camera is component HD- connecting to most HDTV’s.
