Connecting Sony PVM 2541 with DeckLink Studio
Hi all,
I connected the monitor via HDMI. I was wondering that How can I use it as a second monitor for my Mac Pro running 10.6.8. Because the monitor is not showing up in the Display preference.
Secondly, I would also like to use the monitor in After effects for Preview. But I can’t find the setting in the after effects preference for my comp, it’s 1080p 25. Can I create new preset for this? Because it only gives me interlace at 24 or 29.97 and so on.

I found out the reason why I can’t use the monitor as a second display because Decklink Studio doesn’t have the “Extended Desktop” option.
But I am still have trouble with After Effects and Final Cut Pro. There is no preset for 1080p 25, so I use 1080i 50. The monitor displays the video but it flickers. I already turn off “remove field jitter when video is paused” according to the user manual.
How can set this monitor to display 1080p 25fps correctly? -

it is still flickering and it’s almost unusable.
