  Connecting Peak Meter to BMD Decklink

  Hello,

  this might be a dumb email, but I’ve been working all night and I’m tiiiiiirrrreeeedddd. So anyway.

  I’ve got a BMD Decklink Extreme, DualG5, and I definitely need a peak meter. I’ve got a good offer on an RTW 1119E with a RTW1120, meaning XLR input. The specs for that peakmeter are peak level at +6dBm (1,55V), reference level at 6dBu.

  Does anybody know if I can hook that up to my Decklink? Can I adjust that peak meter so that (European standard I’m working with) my -18dBFS come out -9dB on the peak meter?

  What’s the Decklink’s output anyway?

  Hope one of you can help me out. Ouch, and now I need sleep.
