Hi, looking for some help – the attached image shows a green selection of polygons that i want to unify into 1 shape.

I have tried using both melt and dissolve but not having any luck with it.

Am i approaching this in the right way – any help/pointers will be much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Neil

Have you tried connect and delete in the objects menu or the object manager?

Not sure exactly what you mean by “unify in one shape”. You mean you want to split those polygons off to make them a separate object? If so the Split command would be the way to go. That will leave the original polygons but you can delete them if you wish.
