Connecting both HDMI and SDI
I am shooting on a Sony XDCAM EX-1. Is it possible to connect both HDMI and SDI out at the same time. I would be plugging the HDMI into an external monitor and the SDI would be connected to a live streaming device. Obviously I would just plug both in and check but I only have access to the monitor right now.

The EX1 doesn’t have an HDMI connector but the EX1R does. On that camera the HD SDI and component (RGB) signals are active at the same time but the HDMI connection is not. If you have a monitor that accepts a component connection then use that and leave the HD SDI for streaming.
