Connected my D3200 to HDMI monitor, horrible screeching instead of mic recording
Hey guys I would like to switch to my DSLR for blogging and it’s helpful to see yourself in the screen, so following this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/Nikon/comments/3idx9g/d3300_external_monitor_for_video/# I bought a mini hdmi cable and hooked it up to my monitor to record.
It works as advertised video is a tad laggy but looks good enough, what hit me though was when I started recording I just hear this screeching monotone sound with no audio actually being recorded. Does anyone know what this is caused by? I can make a video of it if the description is not sufficient.
