Connect USB interface balanced output to ZOOM H5
Please if anyone may help with my problem.
I’ve the Roland Tri-Capture usb interface (check this image to see the output https://i.imgur.com/5DW9ZuM.jpg ).
How to correctly connect the Output of the Roland Tri-Capture to H5 without getting any signal distortion?
I’m considering one of these 3 ways but do not know what would be the best settings for each, so I thought to post here to get a better idea.
1) Connect the output of Tri-Capture USB using 2 cables Stereo (one for Right, and one for Left), and then connect them to MIC 1 & 2 in H5 ( https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/175763-REG/Comprehensive_SPPS_P_6ST_1_4_Phone_Male_TRS.html ) since the Output of the Tri-Capture is Balanced as shown in picture.
2) Connect the output of Tri-Capture USB using 2 cables Mono (one for Right, and one for Left), and then connect them to MIC 1 & 2 in H5 ( https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/846866-REG/Hosa_Technology_HGTR_005_Rean_1_4_Pro_Guitar.html ).
3) Connect the output of Tri-Capture USB using 1 cable 2 Mono (one for Right, and one for Left) and the other end of the cable to be connected in the mic at the Line-IN of the H5 ( https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/160639-REG/Hosa_Technology_CMP_153_Stereo_Mini_Male_to.html ).
Please advise 🙂
