    It seems Windows users were not seeing progress being reported in the vertex linker palette during the ‘apply’ stage. It also turns out that AE v7 Mac has a similar ‘bug’.
    As a workaround, I have put a hide() and show() in the repeat loop right after the text field is updated. It makes for a flickery palette, but I think this is better than that bone-chilling what’s-happening-now moment.

    This change warrants, in my mind, a whopping .9 version designation.
