  • Confused about needing to render audio all the time???

So Im doing a recut of a doc and there are multiple layers of audio. For some reason FCP wants me to render the audio all the time….The settings are set to 48k, the audio is all 48k…Im kind of stumped here. Im sure its some setting or something I havent thought of but I cant figure it out. Anyone got any ideas what I might be overlooking, would be appreciated. Thks in advance.

In your User Preferences, Real Time Audio Mixing defaults to 8 tracks. Set that higher and you should have to render less. I have a similar system to yours and I set it to 14 tracks and never seem to have a problem.
