I used to conform my SloMo Material in Cinema Tools.
The source is some AVCHD SloMo 50fps material from my Panasonic TM-900.
With ClipWarp I changed that first to ProRes (LT), now I want to conform it with CT to 25fps.
But it only shows me the analysis window. It does not give me the option to conform.
    Any idea why?

    Thanx.

Open cinema tools go to File> Batch Conform, select folder where your clips are, select first clip and click ok will be prompt how to conform clips (24,25 and so on) click ok and boom all of your clips will be conformed

That’s the way I did it.
But it put all the clips in the “skipped” folder, saying there was an error.
    Any idea why?

what kind of error? look at the info in QT player on the original file and tell me what you read…
In anyway try trashing pref on cinema tools and restart.

Well, one Q I anyway have on top of the other ones – since I am not often Tools often: When I open The App, it asks me to create a new data base or open an existing. I know, chose create a new database, simply to the default location it offers.

So, then I do Batch conform, it renders for 2 sec. Then it created a conform.log file, a conformed 25.0 Folder (which is empty) and a “skipped” Folder where all the clips are in, still playing back at normal speed at 50fps.

i think there is something wrong in the conversion from camera to prores.
try to convert using Compressor if you can do this with it (i never worked Panasonic with) o try another codec. Make a test with one clip
I do a conforming 3 days ago from 30 to 25fps with cinema tools from a canon 5d files converted to prores with no problem.t

Clipwrap is the only software – at least that I own, that unwraps and transcodes AVCHD files, which are .MTS files – they are not recognized by compressor, neither by Grinder.
So, Clipwrap is the only option, and it does a very reliable job actually. I analysed the files also in AE and they are uncorrupted and ok.

CinemaTools tells you that the files have interframe compression. ProRes is intraframe codec. So your files are probably rewrapped but not converted to ProRes.

Weird. It says it’s prores LT in AE. I will try to run it again through ClipWrap.
    Thanx.
