November 13, 2006 at 1:03 am[Keith Koby] “Otherwise, the Convergent Design boxes are outstanding and they take the original digital signal and convert it to baseband hd sdi, which is better than taking analog outs from the deck through a multibridge or kona.”
Conversion through the Kona card is absolutely pristine here on our end. One network just told us we’re delivering the best HD they’ve ever seen and we’re using the component HD signal out of the Sony deck and converting to DVCPro HD.
