In a mix format sequence, whenever i put a DV PAL 16:9 format footage and HD DVCPRO 50i format footage in one timeline, both footages are create black bar at the top and bottom in case of anamorphic timline, but the problem is both black bars are not equal to each other.

is there any solution about this conflict.
how do i have to resize this two different format footage in one equal size for broadcast.

    thank you.

If your sequence is DV PAL Anamorphic or DVCProHD, you shouldn’t be getting any black bar.
Make sure that the DV footage shows the Anamorphic checked in the Browser.
Also make sure that the DVCProHD is recognized with HD pixels.

i m working with full HD project and with HD faotages, but when i place a DV PAL footage into the squence it distort. i need convert convert HD to SD from one squence which will cosist variable format footages like- 720p, 1080i 50, DV PAL..i have to export it with same frame size without conflicting the bar bar.

black bar is not my problem, my problem is, each different format footage giving me different black bar size from left and right.
i need to export the squence at 4:3 for SD broadcast, with equal black bar…..

if you can solve it…let me know

    Hi Asadul,
In the User Preferences, checking “Always scale clip to Sequence size” will change the size of the clip to fill the Canvas, but no distortion.

[Asadul Hossain] “i m working with full HD project”
If your final movie will be SD 4×3, work in a sequence like that.
