Not sure if this is a Premiere or AE topic…. but I’ll try here first.

AE parts render VERY slow in Premiere, using only one core (12 are available) when I render a Project.

I already did some searching but only found bits and pieces. The most important seems to be that dynamic link uses only one core – period. But this info was many years old – maybe something has changed since than.

rendering realtime Previews of the AE parts in Premiere was also very slow. But seemed to speed up considerably once AE was closed.

What I want to know is this:
Is there any way to speed up rendering and use more than 1 core. (The info I found was quite old and maybe some dramatic changes were implemented ; )

So if anyone knows a way how to speed up things please let me know.
A confirmation that Dynamic link STILL supports only single frame rendering would be helpful too. Once I know for sure I can stop searching.

    Thanks

It’s not precisely one core, but it is just a single render process.

Don’t forget with Premiere that you can now render and replace [link].

You can also render some formats from After Effects with a project link that lets you re-open the AEP that rendered the output with a right-click and Edit Original in Premiere.
