    Configuring DeckLink card programatically

    Hello everybody,

    I am currently working on a project with a DeckLink card which is a live source for a program using Microsoft Expression Encoder API. I have to configure the card programatically (no dialogs). I’ve been told to use DirectShow API but I don’t know if it’s necessary. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Hi Krzysztof,

    You can do some configuration of DeckLink cards through the DirectShow API, but
    in general, the DeckLink API is a better bet. The API is part of the DeckLink SDK
    which includes full documentation and is available on line.

    Please contact Blackmagic Developer Support at developer@blackmagic-design.com for
    any DirectShow or other development related issues.
