I am working on DVD Authoring involving mostly After Effects, Encore DVD, Photoshop and Illustrator and I have just purchased a new PC with a WD raptor hard drive 10.000 rpm 74 GBs and two Seagate 250 GBs 7200 rpm on a RAID stripping connection. How should I install and configure After Effects and other applications? Better on the 7200 drives and disk cache on the same and let Windows and Office on the raptor or better all apps on the raptor hard drive and all disk cache and data material on the other two?
    Any recommendations for best performance?

I would stick all the apps on the 10K Raptor – and set all cache’s (except the system cache – keep that on the 10K – it’ll be there by default if the 10K is drive C) and data etc to the RAID.
