  Configuration Error 1

  I built a new system over the holidays and installed a new CS6 suite. It is the Educational version, so while I am waiting for Adobe to bless the paperwork and send me a serial number, I am using the 30-day trial. I am also using Win7 Ultimate 64 bit.

  I have an SSD and put the OS on it and then have a standard HDD for the applications. I did a registry edit to point to the standard HDD for Program Files and Program Files (x64). Apparently, Adobe does not like this and hardcoded some code to look at the C:\ drive. I have found some posts that point to this problem:

  The posts above a little old and I was wondering if anyone has found a better solution than changing the registry back to C:\… or copying all of the files from C:\ to the Apps drive. I did copy the files and now the 32 bit versions work, but the 64 bit photoshop keeps asking me to approve the Ts&Cs without ever launching.

  Did Adobe fix this in an update?
  How are others working around this?

  I have to imagine that more and more people are going to use SSDs and want to keep it as pure OS as possible, so I am hoping Adobe fixed this.
