    Hi all

I’ve got a Mac G4 with dual 867Mhz processors, 2 GB RAM and a MatroxRT Mac card. Everything worked ’til I got creative and installed Tiger. Ooops! I’ve looked on Matrox’s website and user forum and it doesn’t look like the RT card is supported beyond FCP 4.1.

My goal is to get FCP Studio up and running this weekend. I’d like to use a audio/video import (with a breakout box). If the RTCard’s a lost cause, I’m agreeable to replacing it. I’d like some recommendations on import cards that are compatible with my G4, Tiger and FC5/Studio.

    Thanks!

Matrox is EOL with FCP 4.1.

Products that I would recommend are the AJA Io series, AJA Kona series, Aurora Pipe series.
