CONFI Setting on BVW70
Should the CONFI switch on the front of my BETACAM SP deck be switched to the ON or OFF position? What is this switch for? Thanks!

It should be OFF except when you lay down the final master. This switch engages read head during recording so you see what’s on tape right away.
