    Hello all,

By mistake I worked on two premier pro files projects and have imported and created sequences in both.
I’d like to condense both and merge all the stuff that is absent in one in the other. Is there a way to do that ? The footage format is the same and located in the same drive.

    Thanks !

You can import a project file to your current project and choose what you want to bring from the imported project.

Yes but you will have duplicate media for clips that were used in both.
There is no way to tell Premiere that the media is the same for both projects.

It’s a real weakness in Premiere.

    Hi…

    just to chime in…

    My understanding is that:

    a) Pre CC if you Import and select an individual sequence media refs won’t be doubled, but reconnected.

    b) PPro CC + > if you use the media browser panel as your method of merging project assets asset entries will not be doubled, but reconnected.

    Thanks….

    Hi Alex

    Never seen that behavior PreCC.
It’s always brought in new media.
