  Computer will not recognize HVX for 32GB P2 footage transfer

  Hey all,

  I am having some serious trouble with the 32GB P2 card. I’m in an organization that purchased 2 32GB P2 cards last year. We had troubles with them and now we have no idea what to do. We can record footage onto them perfectly, but when we go to try to put them onto our computers, the computer will not recognize them. In PC/Dub mode it says “1394 Disconnect”.

  I believe are cards up to date on firmware but the problem is getting the computer to recognize the camera in P2 mode period. I’m sure there are a lot of details I’m leaving out here so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be wonderful.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
