computer specs for SV12
Hello,
I got a typical question. I am going to buy this hardware:
MAINBOARD: Chipset Intel Z77
PROCESSOR: INTEL CORE i7-3770K 4x 3,5GHz
PAMIĘĆ RAM: 2x8GB DDR3
GFX: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX680 2048MB DDR5
HDD : 1000 GB SATAI will be using it for professional Sony Vegas editing for broadcast. It this list OK or you would change something?

ok so I assume GTX isn’t a stable NVidia card to edit video… better stick with Quadro.

good specs there but ditch the GTX 6XX card for a cheap GTX 570 on ebay or similar, the 600 series is not supported in Sony Vegas yet, they’re basically very efficient and powerful for gaming but with a radical different CUDA architecture in return, breaking backwards compatibility with existing software. Of course a Quadro card is always the better choice but I’ve used both a top of the line and expensive Quadro card and a cheap GTX 570 GPU achieving similar rendering speeds / editing performance, provided your CPU is up to the task (i7 3770K is brilliant, I have a 3960X personally though),
