Computer Configuration WOW!
I recently built a new computer for my video editing projects. My old system would get so bogged down trying to render that I gave up on it. AMD X2 4400, 2gb cas2 ram, 2 250gb sata hard drives in raid configuration with a 300 gb sata drive for data. Utilized a evga nf41 motherboard with a 7800gt graphics card. In other words – a “gaming system”. Just rendered a qigong movement video (1st run through, not final) with lots of added hi-res stills and multiple audio. It took 10 minutes to render. For me, just amazing, since I had given up on this same video with my single core slower machine.
Thought I’d share as I have seen several posts asking about computer for editing.
Now if I can only master this Vegas software…
