Compressors Not Exporting Sound
I’m trying to export DVD Best quality 90 min from FCP like I always have, but each time I try, one: the audio is there and it says it’s 52.1MB but when i preview it or play it in DVD Studio there is no audio at all.
Also, after it gets done exporting it closes my FCP project. I have no idea why this is happening. I tried to export a QT movie then convert that through compressor but I got the same problem with the audio.
I haven’t changed much but my Mac did download some auto updates yesterday, but I don’t believe either was for FCP or DVD Studio.
Any suggestions?

You know the audio is a separate file from the video for DVD’s right?
You get an M2V file (video) and an AC3 file (audio) and DVDSP puts those back together.

Yep, i’ve exported it like this before. Even when i take it into DVD studio I can’t hear any audio. Tried it several times and also can’t figure out why it’s closing my sequence’s in FCP.

Do you hear audio in the AC3 file?
