Compressor/Qmaster not using multicore on Mac 2010
I’m unable to get multi core utilization doing transcodes in Compressor with Qmaster set up. I have the following:
2010 Mac Pro 2 x 2.4 Ghz Quad-Core (8 core)
Memory 12 GB 1066 Mhz DDR3
OS X 10.6.5Running Compressor 3.5.3
My biggest concern since I got this box is istat seems to indicate that I have stuck cores, could this be the fact that I have mismatched cores & memory (8 & 12)?
screenshot of what appears to be stuck cores during transcode:

Thank you kindly in advance,
