August 2, 2007 at 8:47 pmexport your movies, then shove them into compressor. more reliable anyway doing it that way because you can batch process.
;o)

After reinstalling FCP – with a lot of trouble uninstalling it first…
I can’t open compressor.
The dock makes a small movement when i press crompressor.app and thats it!
Ive been reinstalling over and over again but it just wont work… its driving me mad!
Anybody have an idea what to do?? -

August 9, 2007 at 3:10 pmI was able to fix it.
first i went here https://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11582 and downloaded this software and i optimized the system.
then I tossed compressor app in the trash, along with fcp. then I re instaled the whole fcs. then i restarted, then I updated everything, then i restarted and it worked like a charm.
try it out. make sure though that u have qt installed before you do all of that.
