OK, it’s Thanksgiving eve, deadline imminent, and I’m stalled. Is anybody out there?

Running FCP 5.0 on a new imac. Using Compressor for the first time. I’m in FCP, and select a simple 2-minute sequence in the browser, or click on the timeline of a simple 2-minute sequence. Go to Export thru Compressor. Set the settings and destination. Acceptable filename for the output file. Click submit. On occasions when the app doesn’t crash (it crashes when the batch monitor is clogged with sequences I tried to submit and won’t unclog) nothing happens. If something turns up in the batch monitor, it claims to be processing, but doesn’t move beyond zero complete. Usually then, it won’t let me delete it from the batch monitor.

    ?????

    Thanks.

Until you get it figured out try exporting a reference or self-contained QT movie and use Compressor as a stand alone app. See if that solves it.

If its keeps crashing, have a look to see if you have the Qmaster for your Compressor version.
