  Compressor won’t compress – anything but audio!

  I’m using Compressor 3.04 as part of Final Cut Studio – which I’m fairly new at – and cannot get Compressor to create the MPEGs I need for a DVD. I’ve used the software before successfully – though with some problems with the interface which I find a bit confusing. Today the settings I drop onto the video work only for the audio portion of the movie – not the video. I’ve tried various videos – none compress.

  I frequently get the orange triangle and warning:”This target will overwrite an existing file with the same name. To preserve the existing file, change the destination or change the name of the output file.”

  I’ve had that in the past (very annoying) but have been able to compress. Today – nothing.
  Anyone have any clues?
