So i was rendering a file from FCP 6 to Compressor for DVD output. Using all standard settings for fastest 90 min DVD. The batch rendered very very slowly and eventually hung up at 98%. It’s been there for about a day and has not moved at all. I attempted to cancel it to start over but the batch just says “cancelling” and never stops. I even rebooted the machine and the bacth is still in the list and will not go away. I’m trying ot render other things and this uncompleted unremovable batch is making it impossible.

Is htere a way to manually delete the batch queue in Compressor to fix this?

Ok so this same situation happened to me on a sperate system using FCS2. the MPEG rendering freezes at nearly complete and stop moving. It is also uncancelable and is clogging fo the queue in the batch monitor.

Has anyone else experienced this yet? Is it a bug in the new Compressor?

Try deleting preferences which can be found in your home directory>library>preferences>apple.com.Batchmonitor.plist then reboot.

    Worked for me.
