    Hey everyone,

We’ve started using GoPros at work, recording upwards of 4 hours at a time (each file being separated into hour increments by the GoPro).

We’ve been testing the transcode speed from it’s H.264 file to ProRes LT (everything is 720p) in both Compressor and MPEG Streamclip (which is recommended by GoPro). MPEG Streamclip seems to do a much faster job of it.

Would there be any good reason why Compressor wouldn’t be able to do the same job as fast as MPEG Streamclip?
