video is ntsc 872×486 widescreen i chose square pixals for par.
when i bring it into compressor i used the preset dvd best quility 90 minutes.
    inspector settings:

    mpeg-2 ntsc,16:9 video sd format
quality-two pass vbr best average bitrate 7.0,max 8.2,motion best, gop ip 15 and for the cropping i left alone: source top 4-bottom 2 output: top 6-bottom 5. everything seems to be fine in the before and after preview window. but once it’s on dvd and i watch it on tv it is squashed a bit.
i tried the 16×9 1.33:1 in the cropping part of inspector and that what happened. it seems the settings are different from AE to PR. how can i fix this. is this a compressor setting issue or the source files themselves?
