compressor suddenly quitting
Working with FCP 4.5 and haven’t used Compressor much. Been using FCP movie right to iDVD or Studio Pro. After reading how good it is here, started to play with it a bit. But everytime I try to output a file to DVD mpeg2 setting, it has been quitting.
I tried reloading Compressor from original FCP 4 disks (since the 4.5 upgrade was through a downloaded update) and now it doesn’t quit, it just says “Can not Submit Batch – Unable to connect to background process.”
Sounds like I disconnected its path somehow. Or is the Compressor that came with 4 not compatable with 4.5. Any ideas? thanks.

Redownload and install the 1.2.1 update (or update to it if you haven’t already). This always fixes this annoying problem for me.
