Compressor stuck on Waiting
For some reason compressor just want actually start a project. It’s listed in to do jobs, but just stays on waiting with no progress. I have tried both importing a QT file and sending straight from the TL of FCP.
I have also tried other files with the same results.
I am selecting Best for 90Min SD DVD which is what I have always done
The QT file plays fine so it’s not a file issue.
Any ideas please?

Look in your User Library preferences folder for “com.apple.compressor.Compressor.plist” and trash it.

Hello,
My compressor won’t make PAL files. I am using a MacBook Pro with Final Cut Studio Pro 4.
Can you suggest a solution?

What file format are you trying to output to? If it’s a DVD format, then you don’t select the PAL/NTSC format until you take it to the next step in DVD studio Pro and set the DVD output format in preferences
