Suddenly Compressor 4.3.1 can not render m2v files. It only produces a file with zero bites. An empty file. The file in question should be about 3.8GB in size. So what is Compressor doing for this 20 minutes it says it rendering out a file?

Getting tired of all these short comings from Compressor.

    Ideas?

My program is about 45 mins long. bring it into Compressor. Drop the Create DVD presets into the project. Select the m2v file setting. Select video to modify the settings. Switch to Single Pass CBR and set bit rate up to 9Mbps and hit Start Batch.

20 mins later I have the ac3 audio file and an empty m2v file.

Make sure your target drive is healthy- ie no permissions issues etc.
