I’m doing some work for a facility that broadcasts video from a central server as opposed to tape which I am use to. The engineers have requested my output in the following format:
544×480 (why this size I’m not sure)
as a mutl-plexed mpeg transport stream with embedded audio

I’ve outputted my work via compressor and everything is working fine; my only two problems are
1)They would like the audio compressed with AAC at 192kbs but I cannot find an option anywhere in compressor that will allow me to change the default mpeg audio compressor or even edit my audio settings. Is this even possible in transport stream?

2)The would also like the data rate to be a max of 4.2 but compressor doesn’t let me go below 5.0. Does this request have any benefit and is it possible?

Any help or directions to resources in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Jon

They probably mean AC3 which is the same as Dolby Digital. Compressor WILL go below 5 mbs if you use the manual settings instead of the presets.
