    OS 10.4.11, Dual 2.3GHz PowerPC G5, 8.5 GB RAM, FCP 6.0.2, Compressor 3.0

For some strange unknown reason Compressor has quit working for me. When exporting from FCP, Compressor launches but none of the windows open and it does not process anything. If I open Compressor from the dock I get the same result. The destination window will not open at all. When attempting to update to 3.0.2 I get a message saying the update is not needed. I have also tried reinstalling compressor and I get the same results.

Any advice would be of great help, Thanks!

I would try to make sure that my System is optimized (Maintenance, DiskWarrior). If the problems remains you need to uninstall and re-install Compressor.
In the Apple web site there is an article about troubleshooting Compressor. They explain what you need to erase to fully un-install it. Easy to fallow.

    SONY EX-1 . SONY PD170
..and always a big mess on top of the table.

Make sure to follow this to the letter, otherwise it might botch your Motion functionality.
