Compressor only rendering thirty seconds…
I work in a mostly PC environment and need to be able to render to a format that anybody can quickly grab and watch so I use Flip4Mac and render to a .wmv
After reformatting my Mac Pro and loading OSX 10.5 (rolling back from 10.6), I couldn’t render more than 30 seconds of footage into .wmv files. This was driving me crazy as there weren’t any error messages popping up and I couldn’t find any info online regarding what the cause might be.
I finally figured out that I forgot to “upgrade” Flip4Mac after the reload. The free version only allows a thirty second render. Hope this helps anybody who runs across this issue and searches for the solution.

Thank you! Had the same issue, only 30 seconds rendered. Turns out – Flip4Mac wasn’t registered after the update. Now it is! 🙂
