Compressor not responding
I keep having problems with compressor not responding to any attempts to export from Final Cut Pro 6. Trying to convert DVC NTSC to MPEG-2 for DVD. The program is about a half an hour. When I try to convert the footage to a DVC NTSC QuickTime the quality drops severely, the picture darkens a lot, and everything gets this reddish hew. When I convert to QuickTime MPEG-2 quality is fine, but am I running the risk of the degrading the footage when I actually do compress it somehow for DVD? The file will be under 2GB.
