Compressor job stuck on ‘waiting…’
I have set up a Render Cluster with two computers, an iMac and a Mac Mini. Both are core i7 recent models. When I submit a job to the Cluster, the first few in the batch will generally go through just fine. after a few of the jobs go through, however, the rest just get stuck on ‘waiting…’ indefinitely. Has anyone ever had this issue?

I see. So what you’re saying is, I can’t batch process unlimited numbers of jobs? I figured there was a limit but that’s exceptionally low. Is it due to memory constraints? All computers involved are pretty high-end.

Unfortunately, Dave is right. Just experienced the Batch problem in a different way: had to convert lots of 5D footage.
Wanted to drop all hundred into the Compressor window….app froze.
So I had to batch smaller junks, the I wanted to drop output location and settings to all of them at once…..froze.
I like the results of compressor a lot, but in terms of Batch and handling big amounts of files, it’s poor, to say the least.Greetz,
