    When I run Compressor i get the “Do you want the application “Batch Monitor.app” to accept incoming network connection. Whilst this is a common popup for lots of apps the problem with this one is that it only flicks onto the screen for about 3/25’s of a second and then disappears only to keep on popping up in this manner.

    It’s very annoying. Does anyone know how to deal with this ?

    In order to identify this I had to film the screen and then work my way through the footage frame by frame to isolate it hence the 3/25’s .

    Repair permissions on your computer. In Apple System Preferences see if you have some Firewall settings that block incoming connections.

    That’s what comes to mind.
