I’ve searched past posts, but this appears to be something new

I recently updated my operating system to 10.4.10. Running a G5 with PPC
This it the first time I’ve tied to use compressor since.

I’m using final cut 5.1.? The newest crossover version (intel & PPC) before the new FCP 6.

I created a timeline in a project like always, with no issues. Then tried to FILE, EXPORT, USING COMPRESSOR.
Here’s the problem. The USING COMPRESSOR is greyed out, its not an option.
I can select make a quicktime movie or export using quicktime conversion.

If this is a problem with the interaction between 10.4.10, then is there a solution that would let me create a quicktime and import it into I-DVD or something? Maybe I’m just one button away.( which is probably the more likely answer)

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Rich

Unfortunately, this isn’t a solution. I’m just having the same problem and was wondering if you found a fix yet.

    Thanks,
    Brian

Ok so now I have a solution!

It’s right here, takes like 15 minutes to do.

I had to do the remove and reinstall compressor. When I started going down the list some of the files weren’t even on my computer. I just ignored them and continued on.

    Now my compressor works.
