compressor is doing something diffrent
I have 1 hour and 28 min of a reference mov file that i’m compressing using to m2v file. I do this regularly but this time my files seem to be doing something very different and it concerns me.
compressor seems to be encoding the file in 4 different segments. I’m using a mac and I’ve created a cluster to help things run faster. usually a file of this length take 9 hours to compress but this file is going to take 22 hours to compress. Its half way through and i don’t know if its going to work because of these segments?
should I stop it or hope for the best?

I waited for this to compress and it was successful not sure why it broke it down into 4 segments.
I’m having stalling issue now with the DVD and I’m not sure if its related to the compression
