I would throw Compressor in the Trash and empty it.

I wonder what would happen if you dropped that down to 8? You have your RAM configured correctly, I imagine?

Don’t know but it’s a royal pain to access the machines so I’m not touching them.

I know there have been problems in the past with Ram Configs that weren’t a multiple of 4.

Honestly there are more problems with the Octo Core acting flaky than any Mac I’ve ever owned.

Honestly, I know you said it’s a pain in the ass to get to, but pull those 2 Gigs of RAM and see how it goes with 8 Gigs of RAM.

Well after 2 trys at a re-install (if we are not counting the first install which was a re-haul.) the results are the same.
With Quickcluster set, cluster never appears as selectable option in Compressor.
With Services with cluster controller set, ContentAgent is not responding.I’ve had my issues with Compressor, but I really do not remember it being this difficult the last time I set up Qmaster/Compressor.
Any other ideas? tricks to getting Qmaster up? Is 10.5.5 the issue here? Anyone else having trouble?
