  Compressor freezing and quitting

  I’m trying to compress a one hour and 48 min timeline in Using compressor.
  A. It freezes and I can’t even turn off the computer unless I pull the electricity.
  B Compressor quits
  C. In Inspector I’m trying to use DVD one pass 4:3 or Mpeg 2. After I fix the quality rating to get 120 min on a best one pass the box appears that says SAVE AS. I write the name and hit save as and nothing happens. I go back to the Inspector box and hit save as and the save as box appears again for me to name my project. Unfortunately, no matter what I name my project, it doesn’t save as.
  The one time I hit submit to the first box it took 4 hours and then when I thought I had a compressed file, DVD Studio Pro wouldn’t import my asset because it said it was an incompatible format.

  What am I missing? I just want to compress this enough to get it on a DVD.
