  • Compressor frame controls????

    Hi there

I am using Compressor to turn out some mpeg2 files. however i am not working in standard pixel resolutions such as 720 x 576 etc. in the geometry settings in the inspector pallette the dimensions field is greyed out, this means i can’t set the output pixel dimensions!

does anyone know how i can access these controls? any help would be very appreciated?

    thank you

Check page 186 of the compressor 3 manual – it’s all explained clearly in there. If you are using compressor 2 just check out the MPEG-2 section.

    hi danny

thanks for the info, i had looked that up previously i just thought there may have been a work around. encode view and main concept both offer control over the frame size. this is not an option in compressor if you are exporting to mpeg2.

i wish that wasn’t the case as i am encoding for onlyview (multi screen, multi format etc etc) = unusual frame sizes

    best + thanks
