    Hi,

I’m having a problem with compressor. This is a SD seq.DV/DVCPRO Audio is aiff and nat sounds.

1st I export to Quick Time making both a Ref and Self movie save it to the desktop.

2nd I import into compressor. I choose DVD Best Quality 90 minutes open folder an choose
MPEG-2 6.2 Mbps 2-pass. Drag that up to the submit window choose desktop for the destination drag that up to the sbmit window

3rd I submit it. It opens up in the batch monitor window and starts compressing.

When it is done I double click on it to open in Quick time player. The video looks great but no audio. No nat sounds or aiff track. When in compressor I play the preview and audio is there. I did the exact same thing but used Mpeg4 and H.264 setting, Video was not as good as with MPEG2 but audio was there.

    Please help

The audio is there, it’s a separate file for MPEG2, not muxed.

    Thanks

Is there another setting to use that gives me the best video and I can hear the audio?

If the files are in the same folder and are named the exact same thing except for the suffixes, such as movie.m2v and movie.aif, then if you double click the m2v movie, the sound will open with it in quicktime.
