I’ve just installed Motion5 – all worked fine apart from the Compressor Droplets that I have on my desktop have all lost their Compressor Icon and done to the paper and pencil developer icon. If I create a new droplet all is fine. Any quick fixes, or shall I just replace them all?

    FCP7, Motion4 & 5 MacPro / Snow Leopard. Compressor FCS3

    Thanks, Martin.

    Martin,

It’s odd, and if it works okay, I wouldn’t sweat it. I might repair permissions/check the disk for errors….but if it’s fine, don’t stress it.

You might see if you get info, click on the icon and press delete, whether it reverts back to a standard droplet icon.

Thanks Jeff – I just went in and made the droplets again inside Compressor (still have the presets) – gives the option to replace existing file, so did that and bingo back they went with proper icon.
    Weird behaviour?!

Was worried that Motion5 was going to cause some problems but sits fine with Motion4 and the rest of FCS3.

    Thanks – Martin.
