Captured ProRes 422 1080 23.98 Psf from HDCam in FCP 6.05 (HDCam is 23.98 Psf same tri level Gen to both HDCam and Kona3).
TC reported in captured QT file is the same as HDCam TC (59:50:00)
drop captured file into Compressor ask for H264 (settings based off source resolution and frame rate)
resultant H264 shows TC as 59:46:10 The frame rate is fine Picture is fine audio is fine
Talking about TC shown in QT player lower left corner not BITC
I’ll try one with BITC later. this needs to go out the door.
    Anyone notice this before?

QT Player, as has been demonstrated here many times, it has not accuracy at all.
Check your TC in FC better.

Yes it’s correct in FCP and correct on the file FCP captured when viewed in QT Player
It’s the h264 compression that is reporting the wrong TC
