Hi from Maurizio, italy, pal system
    i edited a video Final Cut 4
it’s full of still images and then video clips
    on an original soundtrack

i compressed it with compressor and made a dvd using dvd studio pro
    then the problem:
at the beginning the sound follows
images in the way it has to

but during a sequence of very fast still images (1 for second)
the music is on late, it start later then the video clip and goes on in this wrong way
    i can’t say it’s a lost of synchro
cause at the end of the video
the music return to be ok.

i tried different compression setting (60 min. 90 min. 120 min. on dvd) and different motion estimation but i didn’t solve the problem

is it a special case using rapid sequence of images and then
normal frame rate for mpeg2 compression?

what kind of setting i could try?
    any suggestions?

    thanks
    Maurizio
