    Hi everyone –

Can I compress movies to FLV files in Compressor 6?
Or would you recommend something like EPISODE from Flip4Mac.
or would it be easiest to load it into Flash and export?

    any ideas or suggestions welcome!

We are using to upload to video hosting site called Brightcove.
It’s kinda like YouTube in the sense that it compresses my video again before it goes up. I am trying to bypass the 2nd compression.

    Thanks for any help…as usual.

Do you have CS3? Adobe includes a Flash Video Encoder. If you have CS3, you don’t need to buy anything else.

    Hey Harvey,

Well if your workload starts to get too high and you need to do batch encoding Episode is great(just get Epsiode and add the FLV option instead of buying the PRO Version) My company has been using it for just about a year now, Also our site is hosted by Brightcove.

If you need any help or pointer with the brighcove system please feel free to contact me, I spents month working our our FLV presets and working with the brightcove console to find the best ways to work with in there system.
