Compressor 5?
I was just wondering if anybody has had a chance to play with the new Compressor yet, and if they can say if it’s worth the upgrade price. Looking on Apple’s “features” page, I couldn’t see anything really new about it. If it fixes the problem with downscaling/encoding to MPEG2 I’ll be happy paying the $50.

Haven’t tried that feature yet but not much has changed. I would wait and hold on to your $50 bucks. The only new thing that I see is the way it distributes encoding no longer using qmaster.
